Letter from Daniel Kim, CEO

The year of 2011 marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of Appro International, Inc. (Appro).  Appro has grown from an OEM HPC server manufacturer to a complete solution provider of innovative supercomputers.  Appro is now a supplier to world-class customers in Government Labs, University/Academic, Financial, Energy and Manufacturing markets.

Over the years, Appro has built unique agility and capability to bring cutting-edge supercomputers based on the latest technologies to the HPC market.  Appro has a core group of HPC technical experts guiding customers to creative solutions and a professional services team willing to give 110% to support our customers.  We focus on high performance computing and we are flexible and responsive to today's marketplace.

I am very pleased to hear positive feedback from our customers.  They see great value in working with Appro, as we strive to provide supercomputing solutions with the best price/performance and latest technologies in the HPC market.  We try to work as an extension of our customer's business by providing quality and differentiated products that exceed their technical requirements on a timely basis.

As I look to the future, I believe Appro is poised to take a leadership role in the HPC market. Approximately 70% of our current customer base comprises companies we have done business with for over 10 years.  This past year, we have focused on new supercomputer technologies to meet the challenges of future opportunities while growing market share.

I thank our customers, partners and our employees for having been part of Appro's 20 Year History.  We look forward to reaching new milestones in the next 20 years and beyond.
