'I am a professor at Rice University. I work with a half a dozen students to develop monte carlo scientific simulations of biological systems. We need high performance servers with maximum uptime.

We chose Appro Cluster Solutions based on their reputation for reliability. The Appro dual Intel® Xeon™ processors based servers, Appro 1200X - Cluster Engine servers and the Appro 1224X server used for the master node met our needs. These servers provide powerful processing, high bandwidth and advanced management for workgroup servers. Appro Linux based cluster solutions provide the best combination of price, performance and density making it ideal for compute-intensive applications.

We are very happy with the supercomputer that we have developed with Appro International. Our experience with Appro servers has been excellent. The nodes of our supercomputing cluster solution have a 99% uptime utilization rates since installation. In addition, the price / performance ratio is beyond our expectations.'
