With 4 processors per server, Appro 1143H delivers the highest power-to-density ratio and outstanding performance per watt of any 1U server available. With up to 128GB of outstanding memory scalability, the Appro 1143H offers the best configuation flexibility for enterprise and high performance floating-point applications. In addition, it features outstanding thermal management and cooling, faster processors, more memory, and additional storage options to deliver more value than ever before. It is safe to say that this server delivers supercomputing performance at an excellent price/performance ratio.

The Six-Core AMD Opteron processor continues AMD’s tradition of leadership in energy efficiency, outstanding performance, investment protection, and optimal virtualization. The addition of AMD’s new chipset creates an integrated server platform that extends bandwidth and virtualization capabilities, combining the CPU and chipset that gives system designers Hyper Transport™ 3.0 technology, PCI Express® 2.0 and new AMD Virtualization™ (AMD-V™) technology features such as IO-virtualization.

In addition, Appro offers complete turnkey cluster solutions with open source cluster management options for our 1U/2U cluster projects. Appro works with open source and commercially supported software such as ROCKS+ and MOAB from ClusterCorp to deploy a full service, customized and self-maintained cluster environment.

Ideal Environment
