General Purpose Server - Dual/Quad-Core AMD Opteron™ Processors

The New 1U XtremeServer 1512H offers a single socket server platform based on AMD Opteron Processor 2000 series. The Appro 1U XtremeServer combines quality with the latest in processing capability such as the second generation, Dual-Core AMD Opteron processors as well as the upcoming third generation, Quad-Core AMD Opteron processors. This server provides advancement in memory, power and I/O technologies, delivering a validated optimized platform that meets the demands of today’s small high performance computing users.

Appro 1U XtremeServer 1512H delivers accelerated server performance and throughput via integrated processor and memory optimization. This general purpose server offers great performance with outstanding system memory capability making one single processor capable of handling up to 32GB of memory. This combination allows customers to build high performance computing clusters at very attractive prices.

The Appro 1U XtremeServer is the best fit for computational, memory intensive applications and ideal for customers who need an entry level single processor server product as a viable building block for HPC clusters and applications. The Appro 1U XtremeServer based on AMD Opteron™ processors with high-bandwidth DDR2 memory also provides significantly better performance for floating-point applications commonly used by design professionals and researchers in industries such as Engineering and Electronic Simulation, life sciences, oil and gas, automotive, and finance.

Appro ServerDome Provides XtremeServer Management

The Appro ServerDome provides remote server management for the Appro 1U and 3U XtremeServers. With comprehensive management capabilities from a single graphical console, Appro ServerDome remote management software automates and simplifies IT and networking tasks, letting the system administrator deploy, configure, manage and maintain thousands of servers. The ServerDome Remote management capabilities are IPMI 2.0 compliant and work with either Windows or Linux.
