High Density Server - Dual/Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processors 5100 and 5300 Series

The Appro 1U HyperServer series, model 1224x based on Intel Xeon Processor is a unique solution that has in essence, two compact motherboards in one chassis providing a very high density server, with a total of 4 processors per 1U server. The Appro 1224x servers share one power supply, so for customers that want to maximize their processor density, this is an ideal solution. Each motherboard has room for two dual or quad-core processors with support for 32GB of system memory per board. Each board also has a PCIe x8 expansion slot and up to two hot-swappable SATA HDDs. The Appro 1224X is an ideal server solution for customers who need to build up a large cluster and have very little space. This server offers high performance computing users more flexibility to maximize processor density in a cabinet without sacrificing floor space and product features.

The Appro 1224x HyperServer based on Intel Xeon processor 5000 series brings new advancements in memory, power, I/O, and security, optimizing the platform for the demands of multi-core processing. It provides up to three times the memory bandwidth and four times the capacity with new fully buffered DIMM memory, boosting system responsiveness for data-intensive applications.
